Introduction

To fulfill the building communities where all live better together, one of the 2nd Inauguration Idea of Samsung, Samsung Welfare Foundation was founded in 1989,and since then established and administrated Child Care Centers in the low class areas, concentrating on diverse social welfares and contribution activities.

Enlarging the child care activities from the know-how that it has earned through administrating
Child Care Centers, Samsung Welfare Foundation lifted up the quality of domestic
child care program by developing programs, and educational materials for Child Care Centers.

Samsung Welfare Foundation has firmly grounded the founding idea, 'Nurturing the Next-generation',
through Youth Volunteer Corps, supports for the teenaged orphans and 'A Little Sharing for a Lot of Love' Campaign,
Improving the welfare for the alienated class.
And for the continued succession of traditional morals, administrated Samsung Hyo-Haeng Filial Piety Awards from 1995,
spreading the Filial Piety Culture.

Samsung Welfare Foundation will fulfill the duty of the company, manifesting the power to contribute to the neighbors,
nation and society when the society is in trouble, so as to advance the dream of making the more fertile society
where everyone lives a happy life.
