  • Q. 1 Is there any place for me to eat in the Museum?
    A. 1 No eating is allowed in the Museum. You can have snacks and beverages at the cafe
    located within the premise of the Museum. In case that you bring your own food,
    you can consume it at Lakeside Square.
  • Q. 2 Do I need a separate ticket for Hee Won?
    A. 2 Fee includes same day admission to Ho-Am Art Museum as well as Hee Won.
    General admission is 4,000 WON for adults and 3000 WON for youths.
    Groups of 20 people or more qualify for discounted tickets. Each person receives
    a discount of 1000 WON.
  • Q. 3 Are there any affiliated cards that offer discounted admission to the Museum?
    A. 3 No. there is no affiliated card that offers discounted admission.
    Those of national merit with valid ID are given a 50 percent discount. You can also
    present your Everland’s annual membership card or its one-day ticket for free admission.
  • Q. 4 How much do I have to pay for parking?
    A. 4 Parking is free. The parking lots accommodate 80 cars in total. During the busy seasons
    in spring and autumn, please use public transportations to get to the Everland and take
    a shuttle bus to the Museum.
  • Q. 5 In relation to group visits, what is a group?
    A. 5 A group is 20 or more people. Groups of 20 or more may receive group admission rates.
    An on-line reservation allows the chaperon(s) of a school group to make a free pre-visit
    to plan a group visit. A guided tour can be requested in 2 weeks prior to your group visit.
    Yet, a group of 30 people or more will not be provided with a guided tour due to
    the shortage of volunteer docents.
  • Q. 6 Is there any place for me to eat in the Museum?
    A. 6 No eating is allowed in the Museum. You can have snacks and beverages at the cafe
    located within the premise of the Museum. In case that you bring your own food,
    you can consume it at Lakeside Square.
  • Q. 7 Do you offer audio-guide services?
    A. 7 No. the Museum offers no audio tour. Yet it provides 4 daily docent-guided tours
    at 11:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 16:00 for its exhibitions. As for Heewon, from this coming
    autumn, smartphone audio tours will be available on its main landscape areas and stone
    works.
  • Q. 8 What kind of exhibits does the Museum have?
    A. 8 The Museum features over 200 exhibits of traditional Korean art including calligraphic
    works, porcelains, and wooden furniture through various special and permanent
    exhibitions held in the galleries on the Museum’s 1st and 2nd floors.
  • Q. 9 How often do you change your exhibits?
    A. 9 The Museum features its collection mainly through permanent exhibitions.
    The displays and exhibitions of calligraphic works change 1 to 2 times per year for their
    safe preservation. As for special exhibitions, please refer to the ‘Exhibitions’ section on
    our website.
